UPDATE: 22 in 2022

Oof. I am slacking on my 22 in 2022. I need to get my rear in gear! Getting sick for the month of March set me back, but we are getting back on track. These are meant to be fun, so I’m not going to stress. Just doing this update made me excited again about some of the things on this list.

  1. Hit 1500 miles on our spin bike
  2. Write a children’s bookit’s in progress, basically done, I think it’s great. I need to put it in book form and test it out on my son.
  3. Start/ join a book club
  4. One blog post a week (minimum) – I’ve been doing pretty good on this. I may have missed 2 or 3 weeks when we were sick, but I feel like that is a valid excuse!
  5. Workout 3 times a week (minimum)
  6. Read through my book stack
  7. Try SUP Yoga
  8. Make scrapbooks/ photo albums
  9. Sell enough on Mercari to splurge on designer bag
  10. Replace hall lights
  11. Get skincare treatment/ facial – right before Mother’s Day, I enjoyed a spa day of a microdermabrasion and massage. My skin felt amazing, it was so soft.
  12. See a comedy show
  13. Scuba certification
  14. Get a book signed by one of my favorite authorsI saw that Mary Kay Andrews was going on a book tour but sadly, she wasn’t coming anywhere near me. Luckily, one of my old high school friends lived in a town she was stopping at, so he ran by the bookstore and picked me up an autographed copy.
  15. Get a massageI got a CBD massage and felt so relaxed. I will definitely have to do this again. It was just what I needed. Sometimes mama’s just need a break.
  16. Complete a Sweat program
  17. Watch 5 classic movies – so far, I have watched only 1 movie, Singing in the Rain. I was so surprised at how much I loved it! I actually laughed out loud while watching it. I’ve picked out my other 4 movies and am excited to watch them.
  18. Ride a horse
  19. Build a screen porch
  20. Paint kitchen cabinets – this may be on removed because we met with the architect for our porch and decided it was time to do our kitchen also. We haven’t started design yet, but no use in painting the cabinets just to rip them out later.
  21. Go sugar free for a month – tried and failed but will try again. I need to really plan in advance for this.
  22. Ride in a private plane
