Let’s take a look at some of the random photos I’ve taken the past week or so:
It has been absolutely gorgeous here lately. I decided to spend my afternoons in the backyard working instead of at my desk. Can I again reiterate how much I enjoy working at home?! This year, I concentrated on adding as many flowers to my garden as possible (it is usually just vegetables with a couple flowers to attract pollinators). You can see a glimpse of the colors behind me. It makes me so happy!
Mary Kay Andrews was on a book tour for her new book Homewreckers but didn’t come anywhere near me. I was bummed I couldn’t get her autograph, but then I opened up my library book and my local libary has an autographed copy just sitting on the shelves! I need to know the story of how it came to be.
I think these are crested irises (correct me if I’m wrong). I have to look up the name every year. BUT, our neighborhood is full of these. One of the advantages of living in a historic neighborhood means beautiful trees and established flowers. They remind me of Van Gogh paintings.
I impulse bought this at our local grocers. It was soooo tasty!
Shrimp cocktail. 🤣🤣🤣
